Location:

• The cabin is on the high land of Merilla village, in the Cantabrian town of San Roque de Riomiera.​

• 48 minutes driving from the Santander airport (direct flights from London) and 1 h 40 min from Bilbao airport.

• The charming city of Santander is is less than 1 hour driving away, near to some of the best beaches on Northern Spain, including the surfers paradise of Isla and Noja.

• The small ski resort of Lunada is just 35 minutes driving South.

The cabin:

 

It is a typical Pasiego style building, with a recently renovated roof (new rafters, waterproof board, reinforced concrete structure), covered with flagstones.

The thick walls are built with a double layer of limestone.

It is surrounded by a draining trench with gravel and a perforated draining pipe.

The ground floor is a thick reinforced concrete slab with an anti dampness membrane.

The surface of the building is about 60 square meters.

It currently has 3 windows, although some more would have to be opened.

Inside, a 30m2 loft has been built, where two rooms can be enabled.

On the ground floor you can enable a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a room.

The land:

​

The farm is located along a paved road, and there is a vehicle access track (to be repaired) from the road to the cabin, which is surrounded by enough level ground to park several cars.

The total area of land that is sold is 1.7 hectares. It is mostly sloping terrain, ideal for planting forest species.

Several adult trees already exist within the terrain.

There is a well dug for collecting water (not drinkable).
